Installation Supervision and Commissioning

DELTER offers a full range of services related to installation supervision and commissioning of uninterruptible power supply units, diesel and gas driven generators, power boards, alternative power generation equipment.
 
Installation supervision of UPS and diesel generators is conducted by the Customer’s staff under the supervision and control of DELTER specialists.
 
Commissioning jobs are done by qualified DELTER specialists trained by OEMs and experienced in the field of uninterruptible power supply systems. This enables us to guarantee a correct and failure-free functioning of our uninterruptible power supply systems. Upon completion of installation and commissioning jobs our specialists are there for you to test the equipment to check and double-check if the system operates properly.
 
Our expertise enables us to provide you with installation supervision and commissioning services if you want to operate any of the following UPS systems: JOVYATLAS, GE DE, AEG, Riello, Chloride, Leibert, Eaton Powerware, Claude Lyons, AROS, Delta, Inform Electronics, Diesel power generators GESAN, FG Wilson, Cummins, FERBO, Green Power, Deutz, SAKR, and MBH.
 
UPS commissioning jobs include:

  • Check that equipment is correctly placed according to the requirements of the technical manuals;
  • An external inspection of the UPS for absence of mechanical damage during shipment;
  • Check that the static sizes of the input (output) fuses (automatic circuit breakers) and cable cross sections match according to the requirements of the technical manuals;
  • Check of the battery voltage and capacity;
  • Assembly of the battery in the UPS box or in the battery cabinet, installation of the inter-battery straps;
  • Battery temperature sensor unit hookup;
  • Power input and output cable hookup (UPS input and output);
  • Battery circuit breaker panel installation depending on UPS configuration;
  • Hookup of the cable from the battery cabinet to the UPS;
  • For a parallel system, hookup of the synchronization cable and of power division;
  • Installation check of straps, switches, and plug and socket connectors according to the service manuals;
  • Monitoring of UPS internal testing;
  • Check that phase (phase rotation) hookup is correct;
  • Installation and adjusting of UPS parameters;
  • UPS startup in service mode, adjustment of input and output parameters;
  • Check of UPS operating capability in all operating modes;
  • UPS startup in normal operations mode, running of tests, commissioning;
  • Briefing of service personnel on the manner of switching the UPS on and off and about possible causes of failures and methods to eliminate them;
  • Drawing up the statement of completion of commissioning jobs.
     

DDG commissioning jobs include:

  • Check that equipment is placed correctly according to the requirements of the technical manuals;
  • External inspection of the DDG, a check for absence of mechanical damage during shipment;
  • Check that the static sizes of the input (output) fuses (automatic circuit breakers) and cable cross sections match according to the requirements of the technical manuals;
  • Installation of the battery panel board;
  • Hookup of the power cable from the input panel to the battery panel;
  • Hookup of the power cable from the load distribution panel to the battery panel;
  • Hookup of the power cable from the battery panel to the DDG (GPG);
  • Hookup of the signal cable from the battery panel to the DDG (GPG);
  • Hookup of the ground to the DDG (GPG) and to the battery panel;
  • Check that the power and signal cables are hooked up correctly;
  • Check of the operating capability of the DDG (GPG) in all operating modes (testing without load, testing with load, in automatic mode), adjustment of input parameters when necessary;
  • Starting up the DDG (GPG) in normal operating mode, running tests, commissioning;
  • Briefing of service personnel on the manner of switching the DDG (GPG) on and off and about possible causes of failures and methods to eliminate them;
  • Drawing up the statement of commissioning jobs completion.
